Not Someday. Now
It’s Time to Stop Waiting on Yourself…
There’s something you’ve been thinking about doing for quite some time now. You’ve tried to move through life as if you’re satisfied, as if everything is fine, but deep down, you know it isn’t. You don’t just want a change. You need one.
It’s not that you’re incapable or failing at what you do. In fact, you’re quite good at it. But there’s a gift that has lived inside of you since childhood, something you can do for hours without noticing the time pass. Something that feels natural, familiar, and makes you feel alive.
However, somewhere along the way, you stopped nurturing it. Life happened. Responsibility happened. And slowly, you convinced yourself it wasn’t practical to try anymore.
The thoughts bombarded your mind: I don’t have time. I don’t have the money. I’m too old. I’m not old enough. I’m not experienced enough.
And underneath all of that is the quiet fear you don’t say out loud. The fear of being seen. Of being judged. Of stepping forward with something that actually matters to you and having that joy being snatched away due to the opinions of others.
Because there was a moment in time when you did share your gift, but you probably shared it with the wrong people. Because they weren’t really for you. They were there to criticize you.
So instead of being nurtured, your gift was dismissed. Instead of being encouraged, it was minimized. You were made to feel inferior, as if what came so naturally to you somehow wasn’t enough. As if you weren’t enough.
But we already talked about this, didn’t we? Just last month. About how you are enough. How you have everything it takes to follow your passions and be successful, and you have what it takes right now.
Not someday. Not after you fix one more thing. Not when everything is perfect. Not when you finally feel “ready.”
Understand that right now, you don’t need permission from anyone. You don’t need to prove yourself. And you don’t need to wait until the fear disappears because it won’t. It never does before taking action.
That fear has settled into your thinking. Over time, it shaped the story you’ve told yourself about who you are and what you’re capable of doing. Those are voices that once belonged to others, and now it sounds like your own.
So, let’s establish this now as you move into 2026. This will be the year you evict the voices in your mind that don’t belong to you, and it will be the year you take action.
You’ve got this. You can do this. Don’t be the obstacle standing in your own way. It’s time.
